The Skull

Pencil drawing, done at my weekly art class. I had soooo much fun drawing this! There were a bunch of skulls on the table for us to draw. Being a cat lover, I chose the feline skull. The teachers debated exactly what kind of feline it was, but a firm answer was achieved. The teacher told us "draw it as if you were a scientist!", which made me very excited, because I'm a somewhat science-y person. When the drawing was complete, I finished it off with some bone colored pastels.

I love how it turned out. Like I said, it was really fun, and I drew it with love. I'm fascinated by animal bones - no matter how many times I look at the dinosaur bones at the museum, it never gets old.

Yes, the skull is saying "hello!" there. No, I have no idea why I did that.

I'm pretty sure I drew this in 2008. Some year around there.
